"Finding Steve to be our dog walker was a bit like winning the lottery. He is so great with our adopted senior lab Tilly that my husband and I refer to him as "the new dog whisperer". Tilly joined our family after she had been left behind in her owner's apartment when they packed up and moved to BC. Suffice it to say, Tilly was not the most socialized, nor trusting of dogs. Steve has been incredibly patient with her and over time they have developed a lovely friendship. "Last fall, we signed up our two dogs, George and Chelsea, for daily senior visits with Hounds Around Town. We can't say enough good things about "Uncle Steve" (as our dogs used to call him) but we will try: Communicating with him was super easy, he was very flexible and accommodating, and totally reliable. Uncle Steve even carried our 16-year-old dog up and down the stairs when her ramp to the backyard was unavailable. Having two older dogs can be stressful at times and getting a cheerful report every afternoon from Steve was a huge relief. When the dogs needed it, he even came twice in one day. I'm certain George and Chelsea (and maybe our cat, Simon) looked forward to his visits. Uncle Steve had a short time with our dogs but we know he genuinely cared about them and for that we are very grateful."

Steve is a fantastic dog walker. He is very organized and reliable, and shows up like clockwork at the scheduled time to walk Finnegan. He's never missed a day. It's obvious that he loves dogs by how much care and attention he gives Finn. When Finn has had occasional digestive issues, Steve has been very helpful in monitoring how Finn is doing. Most importantly, Finn really loves Steve. That's probably the best indication that Steve is great at what he does.

Hounds Around Town provides an extremely professional and reliable dog walking service. My St. Berdoodle (Barca) has been with Steve since the very beginning, when she was still a little puppy. Couldn't ask for a more genuinely kind and gentle approach, even though Barca can be a handful. Steve is always understanding, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with.
